Ah, good question! Twittering has been called the 'sms of the internet'. It enables users to send and receive updates from their friends...these are called 'tweets'. In this sense, it could be described as a 'micro-blog' of sorts. The service is free on the internet, but I think users may incur some charges if using the sms tool. It's really just texting over the internet, so certainly a fun application, and as far as expanding or promoting your online business, I'm sure it will prove to be a very powerful resource, based solely on it's exploding popularity. Stay tuned, I'll be digging deeper into twittering......
